Northern Ontario Wires Inc. and Go360™ Business Centre are proud to announce their participation in the upcoming EDIST Conference, scheduled for January 14-16, 2025. The session focuses on Asset Health Scoring & Investment Strategies.
In 2024 Northern Ontario Wires Inc. (NOW) continued along it’s IT strategy path of a staged implementation of the Go360 Business Centre for its Utility Operations and Asset Management. NOW leveraged its earlier deployments of Go360 GIS Editor and Go360 LiveOps by implementing the Go360 Audit & Compliance (A&C) product to complete its Asset Inspections and Asset Health Scoring. Utilizing the Utilities Standards Forum (USF) inspection framework and the new Go360 Custom Scoring module the entire pole inventory of NOW along with switches, polemount and padmount transformers were audited. This allowed for related NOW asset health scores to calculate on-the-fly individually, provide a full asset comparative analysis, and manage the overall audit program. Results of the asset health scoring were utilized to assist in both NOW’s asset investment strategy and the identification of any immediate repairs required based on the information collected. Going forward NOW Inc. will utilize Go360 A&C for standardized asset health scoring that feed into its long-term investment planning.
