Here We Grow Again!

AGSI is currently expanding its Location Warehouse, Services, and Sales Teams. Here are a few of the recent highlights of staffing additions in 2017

Location Warehouse

Welcoming back, soon to be father, Andrew Fleming. Andrew left us a few years ago to do a walk about in various industry segments. We were naturally sad too loose Andrew and are absolutely thrilled to have him come home to AGSI and the Location Warehouse Team. Andrew is taking on the full-time role of a Data Application Specialist and has the skills to step into projects and support without missing a beat.

Blanca Baitler Rodriguez joins our Internationalization, Data Operations and South American Sales Teams. Blanca has an experienced and varied background from the arts and sports communities through to her ability to communicate in 5 languages. Blanca brings her linguistics to our Internationalization implementation within the Location Warehouse™ and Go360™ products, her eye for detail to data operations, and her strong roots, ability to understand how AGSI products can help people and companies achieve their business goals.

Fawaz is joining AGSI as part of a work Co-Op program for new Canadians. Originally from Syria, Fawaz has a degree in geography and Master’s degree in cartography.  He brings with him extensive experience in the geospatial industry as a trainer and consultant. Fawaz has been engaged in the local community, volunteering with the L.E.A.D.S. (Leadership in Environmental Achievements through Diversity and Skills) program. We look forward to our time with Fawaz and a mutually beneficial term here at AGSI.

Alexander Cameron is “on-board” with working in our Field Research and Data Operations Team. AGSI has been sponsoring Alex through our Go360 Racing Team and we have all watched his great success on the Canadian Junior National Snowboarding Team. Alex will be focusing on additional National Teams and is about to begin his chase towards a longer term Olympic champion dream. This role within AGSI will provide Alex additional finances beyond AGSI’s sponsorship support while at the same time provide the flexibility in his schedule for training camps, traveling requirements and racing events.

Jacqueline Gillmoure has also joined our Field Research and Data Operations Team for the summer and will continue on in a part-time role as she finishes her University degree. Jacque is local to the Halton Hills office, she has been active in many areas including Girls-on-the-Run, soccer player and coach. AGSI is happy that she has made a stop here on her journey.

Mackenzie Cameron has joined AGSI as a permanent part-time employee on our Field Research and Data Operations Team. “Big Mac” has previously been on our AGSI Flyers Community Youth Running Team as well as bringing home a National Team XC Championship in 2014 for Go360 Racing and Speed River Track Club. Mackenzie has a lot of experience because as a little girl her father and our CEO / President Chris Cameron would take Big Mac on road trips driving throughout many urban and rural areas collecting data at the source. Mackenzie is currently majoring in mathematics, is a President’s Scholar and runs for the University of Guelph.

AGSI Services Team

We are also very pleased to announce that Matthew Whatman has joined AGSI for the summer under a Green Youth Project Award. Matt is studying Computer Engineering at the University of Guelph. Matt’s focus for 2017 is on our Spills Remediation and Decision Support Solution Team for government agencies.

We are still looking to expand this Team with:

• A full-time Application Specialist based out of our Headquarters in Halton Hills, Ontario.
• A full-time Project Manager and Account Manager in Calgary, Alberta.

Finally, AGSI is also looking to add 4 sales representatives into our wholly owned AGSI USA subsidiary.
