Go360 Racing Snowboarder Alex Cameron to Represent Canada

Go360 Racing’s Alex Cameron has been selected to represent Canada at the Junior World Snowboarding Championships in Rogla, Slovenia April 2 - 3, 2016.

Alex will be competing against some of the best junior snowboarders in the world in the Men’s Parallel Giant Slalom (PGS) and Parallel Slalom (PSL) events.

Alex first started out on skis when he was just two years old. In 2006, at the age of 10, Alex turned his focus to snowboarding and was competing by the age 11 and he has been rapidly improving ever since.

Two years ago, Alex broke his arm while competing in the Ontario Winter Games but he did not let this slow him down. This past summer, he continued to develop his skills by training in Chile with National Coach Patrik Gaudet. This fall and winter, Alex competed in 5 NorAm events, against international racers of all ages. His highlights were placing 15th at the Toronto Ski Club NorAm competition and placing 2nd in an International Ski Federation (FIS) race at Mount St. Louis, both events held in February 2016. As a result of Alex’s determination this season, at the age of 17 he is ranked 5th junior in Canada. We wish him great success, as he gets ready to compete in the Canadian Championships next week in Quebec and then in his first international competition in Slovenia.

AGSI is a proud sponsor of Alex under our flagship Go360 Racing program for elite athletes!
