Dan Shannon - AGSI’s Executive Director, Project Management Office

AGSI is proud to announce Dan Shannon as our new Executive Director, Project Management Office (PMO)

As Executive Director at AGSI, Dan will be responsible for ensuring the overall success of all projects through proper planning and project delivery methods.

Dan comes to AGSI with 30 plus years of project management experience primarily in the telecom sector. Dan has a breadth of experience with large organizations such as BC Tel, TELUS Communications, and TELUS Geomatics. Dan has served in various capacities including as GIS Manager, Engineering Manager, Senior Program Manager, Senior Business Analyst, and as a GIT Systems Architect. He was directly responsible for authoring and gaining approval for, and implementing several multi-million dollar technology projects. As an Engineering Manager, Dan was responsible for executing capital build programs in excess of $35 Million annually.

As Executive Director at AGSI, Dan will be responsible for ensuring the overall success of all projects through proper planning and project delivery methods. As part of the executive leadership team, Dan will drive the organization through effective communication and process ensuring consistent practices throughout all projects, from initiation through to scale-up and will collaborate with all Clients.
